What does this testing entail?
An electrocardiogram measures and records the electrical activity of your heart muscle. Small sensors are placed on your skin to capture the rhythm. The test is rapid, harmless and does not place stress on your heart.
How should I prepare?
Bring your signed requisition and valid OHIP card. No other special preparation is usually required.
How long is the test?
The examination takes approximately five to ten minutes.
